Para dejar las cosas claras desde el principio: el juego es muy flojo a todos los niveles. Técnicamente mediocre y con poco que ofrecer en el aspecto jugable, Crossfire no tiene muchos argumentos para hacerse querer. Desde el principio el jugador se verá inmerso a un diseño de misiones soso y aburrido, carente de imaginación o ambición. También deberá poner a prueba su paciencia ante un motor gráfico que pecaría de mediocre en PS2, una Inteligencia Artificial nula y un sistema de combate plomizo que no ofrece alicientes.
